Do I need to be able to ski?
No. Non-skiers are very welcome, and we can arrange a programme of activities at small additional cost, from a day in Salzburg to the thermal spa at Kaprun. The free guided skiing is for anyone confident on blue runs.
Is the lift pass included?
No, it's bought locally. One pass covers both Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier at Kaprun, and you can buy it for the whole week or day by day as you need it.
What about ski or snowboard hire?
Hire isn't included, but we have a discount arrangement with the hire shop right next to the hotel.
Can I take my own skis?
Yes. Lufthansa carries ski equipment free of charge as long as you book it in advance.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. It's a condition of booking that you have adequate travel insurance, including emergency medical expenses, personal accident and repatriation. We strongly recommend baggage, personal liability and cancellation cover too, and taking it out when you book.
