Had your first taste of skiing and ready for more? This one-hour lesson is for skiers who’ve already had a couple of lessons. An instructor will help you build on the basics, improve your turns and stopping, and gain confidence on the slope.

Experience needed

This lesson is aimed at skiers with 2–3 hours of previous experience. You should be comfortable putting your skis on, getting up the slope on the lift, and stopping with a snowplough. If you’re brand new to skiing, a beginner lesson is the best place to start.

What’s included

• Lift pass, skis, boots, poles and helmet
• Ages 8+

On the day

Please arrive from 2:45pm so there’s plenty of time to collect and fit your kit before the lesson starts. There’s free parking on site.

What to wear

The slope is always below freezing, so wrap up warm:

• Waterproof jacket and trousers (you can hire these at the centre)
• Warm socks
• Gloves. These are compulsory, and you can buy them at the centre if you need to.
