School, College & Youth Group Holiday Insurance
Group holiday insurance is NOT INCLUDED in the cost of your trip. It is the Party Leader’s responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is arranged and in place for the group. At the current time our two recommended insurance suppliers are Ancile Insurance Group Limited (trading as www.schooltripcover.com) and Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited. Due to GDPR rules we are now unable to arrange insurance on your group’s behalf.
Following your school trip booking, full information and the link above, to our recommended insurer, will be sent to the Party Leader. The Party Leader can choose to use our recommended insurer or use their own preferred insurer or insurance arrangement which the school or college may already have in place. If the Party Leader uses their own preferred insurer or relies on their existing policy then they must supply, under our Terms & Conditions of Booking, proof of cover to TGM Holidays prior to travel.
As a guide, if you book with our recommended insurer the cost for a 6/9 day wintersports trip will be around £20/£25 per person. The exact cost will be known once you go online and complete the necessary information.
The insurance must cover all members of the party and if it is for a snowsports trip then snowsports cover must be included.
It is the Party Leaders responsibility to contact the insurance company in the event of a claim.
We strongly recommend that each of your group members also has an GHIC obtainable by application HERE online free of charge. Please check the passengers cards are in date and have not expired.
We believe that safety and enjoyment are equally important when travelling with TGM. It is therefore one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel; cover must include emergency medical expenses, personal accident and repatriation. In addition, we strongly recommend that you include baggage, personal liability and cancellation cover. For a snowsports trip, snowsports cover must also be included.
